¿What do we mean by “spiritual unfolding”?
We understand spiritual unfolding as the process of expansion of our consciousness. This process has positive consequences for the understanding of ourselves and of our relationship with life, the world and the divine and thus, it has positive effects in our relations.
Through spiritual unfolding, we learn to live harmoniously with ourselves, and with our families, friends and people we work with.
Through spiritual unfolding, we learn how to use life circumstances, whether happy or painful, to love more, understand more and relate better.
What do we understand by working “with onself”?
Inner peace, harmony, love: these are the goods we yearn for, for ourselves and for all human beings – goods not frequently found in today’s world. How can we promote them? To reach these goods we need to recognize that we must do something and that this work requires dedication, commitment and perseverance from us. If we want a better world, if we want to acieve peace among human beings, if we want harmony in our lives, the starting point is here and now, in ourselves, in each one of us.
The human being and the sense of life
What’s the sense of my life?
What am I here for?
What’s the purpose of this experience of life and death, pain and hapiness?
Many of us have often asked ourselves questions like these ones.
We begin to go deeper into these questions through a method of life that helps us keep our mind in order, to find spaces for reflection and dialogue, and to promote our own unfolding.
Through spiritual unfolding, we expand the understanding we have of ourselves, and we also help to generate peace and progress in society.
What’s our view of society?
Cafh considers society as a reunion of individuals, families and peoples. That is why it holds that respect for society is achieved through respect for every one of the human beings that constitute it.
One of the consequences of this respect for each human being is the respect Cafh shows for freedom of conscience and of thought.
Cafh presents a view of the world and of life, but it leaves it to each person’s conscience to decide what to believe and how to believe.
Cafh acknowledges and values the role of society in the acculturation, protection and support it offers to its members. However, society is not an abstraction and has no life of its own but it is the reunion of all human beings that constitute it. For this reason, we cannot expect from society more than what each of us can contribute to it.
Cafh considers that peace and happiness do not come from outside – governments, institutions, ideologies, beliefs – but from each of us, from our capacity to understand ourselves and our willingness to unfold. To the extent that we unfold and expand our consciousness, to that same extent we reach peace in ourselves and generate peace in the world.
The individual person’s role is essential and it determines what society can do for each of its members. The more an individual receives in terms of education, wealth, health and well-being, the greater his/her responsibility to collaborate with society to promote the well-being of those who receive the least.
Do we consider Jesus, Mohammed, Krishna or Buddha as Masters or Prophets?
We cannot answer in the name of all of Cafh’s members, since as we said above, each member is free to decide what to believe in and how to believe.
However, the teaching of Cafh presents Jesus, Mohammed, Krishna and Buddha as Masters or Initiates that have impelled the unfolding of humankind.
Cafh promotes the study of their messages and considers that these messages are based on the universal wisdom of all times.
God
We recognize that the fundamental principle of the universe –God– transcends human beings’ present understanding.
We do not try to define God or explain the mystery of the divine.
Through meditation and prayer, we try to remain conscious of the divine unknown, and to deepen our reverence to the divine presence in our lives.
How do we relate with the unknown, the undefinable?
The members of Cafh traditionally revere the divine in the image of the Divine Mother. We apply this reverence and this love to the Divine Mother in our daily life and in the relationship with the human beings around us.
