On journeys

At the start of a journey, the following prayer is said as the vehicle departs:

“In viam mandatorum tuorum ambulaveri, Domine”

“Procedamos  in pace”

Let us follow God.

Let us walk in peace.

Protective Spirits, Holy Guardians entrusted by God to guide me in the path of life, Mystical Pilgrims of Humanity, who know the most hidden and  solitary paths of the world, take me under your protection and be my guides in this road, so that all my steps be righteous, just and oriented toward the triumph of good and for the glory of God.

If the trip lasts longer than one day, Manetras Surica, Psalm 113 and the Hymn to the Heavenly Wind are also said.
